The mountain guides from Arco Mountain Guide in Trentino

An adventure with the professionals from the mountains

Gardasee Sport Outdoor Guide Alpine

Climbing and walking in the mountains with a mountain guide is like a voyage, like sharing an adventure.

A mountain guide is not only there to accompany you into the mountains in complete safety but also to pass on local knowledge and a depth of information acquired from their long experience and passion for the mountain environment.

Why book a mountain guide?

The mountain guide is the only recognised professional qualification on an international level. These guides are fully trained in all aspects of sporting activity in the mountains from trekking to ski mountaineering, from rock climbing to traditional mountain climbing.

The guide is experienced in evaluating risk and therefore avoids dangerous situations. He can teach you how not to take unnecessary risk.

And then it is well known that a local guide knows everything about his mountain and he is ready to share the beauty of nature with you.

Gino Malfer Guida Alpina Arco Lago di Garda

I speak english and french, I am a multi-discipline climber and live in Dro. Arco and the Sarca valley is my home.

I teach rock climbing and mountaineering with personalised courses for children, teenagers and adults. For over 20 years I have accompanied beginners, enthusiasts and climbers into our mountains. I love to travel and in over 30 years of climbing experience I have climbed notable routes in the Dolomites, the Alps, Nepal, India, Peru, Brasil, Patagonia, Norway and the Yosemite Valley as well as several other places.

Thanks to my dedication and passion for all aspects of the sport of mountaineering, I have achieved the qualification of International Mountain Guide UIAGM.
