Canyoning Vajo dell’Orsa for Families at Lake Garda, Monte Baldo
An adventure among caves and large boulders for young and old in Brentino Veronese
A light-filled, open canyon, impressive boulders and passages carved into the rock: in the Vajo dell’Orsa, on the eastern slope of Mount Baldo, the adventure begins with a short hike and continues among fresh water, rappels and small challenges to be experienced together.
This is the perfect canyoning for families: the route takes about two hours, with a short approach of 20 minutes on foot. Is both varied and fun. With optional jumps and rope descents that are never too challenging. The water temperature is always pleasant, even in summer, and the natural setting is charming and welcoming to children.
I will accompany you step by step so that you can experience this in safety and with a smile, with no hurry, listening to each individual’s timing.

Yes, you need comfortable shoes suitable for water. If you don’t have them, you can rent canyoning shoes for €5 per person.
No, you don’t need to be able to climb.
Jumps are not obligatory, if you don’t want to do them you can be lowered by rope, the same goes for the slides.
No, you only need to be able to float aided and not be afraid of water.
Yes you should arrive already wearing one. You also need to bring a towel, a dry change of clothes and a spare pair of shoes to put on when the canyoning is over.
No, because everything will get completely soaked, anything you take with you once we leave the minibus has to stay with you until the end of the canyoning. There is no possibility of leaving things along the route.
It is better not to unless they are absolutely necessary. We recommend to go canyoning without, if you can see sufficiently without glasses. If you really do need to wear glasses you have to take them off and put them in your wetsuit for jumping and sliding into water. The glasses must have a cord in order to avoid losing them. A more suitable option is contact lenses.
Better not to wear anything valuable. If you should loose something it is impossible to find it again in a torrent with rushing water. Also these objects can settle on the bottom hidden by stones.
For canyoning, we will provide all the necessary technical equipment: a 5 mm thick wetsuit, neoprene socks, harness with canyoning protection and helmet.
You will need to use your own trainers or trekking shoes during the canyon. They will get completely wet, so please remember to bring a dry pair of spare shoes for after the activity.
If you don’t have suitable shoes or prefer not to get your own wet, you can rent canyoning shoes for €5 per person.
When you book, we will ask you for the list of participants with name, height, weight and shoe size, so that we can prepare the right equipment for everyone.
Everything gets soaked but not ruined.
Yes you will be soaked including your hair because your descent takes place in a river inside a canyon.
