Via ferrata on Lake Garda and the Sarca valley

A via ferrata allows you to reach into inaccessible places even without possessing excellent mountaineering skills; it is a route equipped with steel ropes, posts, ladders and fixed anchor points like walkways or suspended bridges. These sporty routes tracked on the rock facilitate the access to the summit or some other mountaineering destination. In safety.

Lake Garda, the Sarca valley and the nearby Dolomites are rich in walls and via ferrate well equipped and regularly checked by the local associations, enough to make it a popular tourist destination in Europe for outdoor activities on rock.

To advance on a via ferrata it is obligatory to wear a harness, the ferrata set (longe, snap hooks and a heatsink that allows to absorb the stopping force in case of a fall) and a helmet, that I will provide.

Of course, the progression is made easy but these are routes that require a basic understanding of the techniques of progression in safety and of emergency, which we will learn together.
