Via ferrata F.Susatti of Cima Capi in Lake Garda
Panoramic views from the peak, the queen of Alto Garda
Well known and infinitely photographed for its extraordinary view the via ferrata F.Susatti follows the line of the ridge with a climb of 400 metres and takes you to a final level of 900 metres on the Cima Capi.
We start the route from Biacesa, the first town in the Val di Ledro, and after an hour walk we start the via ferrata. Cooled by the Ora wind from Garda, this route is pleasantly fresh even in summer. It is a circular route and once we arrive at Cima Capi we return to Biacesa on the via ferrata Foletti and hiking. Length: around 10 km – ascent 500 meters
Because of its length this ferrata is classified as medium difficulty and does require a good of physical fitness. The extraordinary views of Garda, the Val di Ledro and the Sarca valley more are worth all the effort.

You can still bring your own pair if you prefer to use personal gloves.
Bring a lightweight backpack with a jacket, drinking water and a snack/energy bar.
A pair of low trekking shoes or trainers are fine, sandals even those with a trekking sole are not suitable.
Wear comfortable and sportive clothing.
Yes, you will feel enthusiast when you climb attached to a metal cable and you will feel extremely safe.
No climbing skills are required. A via ferrata helps you to arrive at the summit without needing any climbing or mountaineering skills.
